Pathfinder is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game created by Paizo Publishing. Currently in its Second Edition, the framework allows players to build highly customized characters to delve into worlds of might and magic. Players are led by a Gamemaster (GM) who facilitates the collaborative storytelling aspect of the game. The strength of this system is in its wide variety of sourcebooks that detail various character options, skills, spells, equipment, and history for its core setting—Golarion. Lost Omens refers to books that are primarily focused on lore, and Core books are the foundational basis for understanding and playing the game.
